CH468 Oculus | Armchair | Ex - Display
Oculus in Latin means eye and refers to the eye-shaped seams in the upholstery of the chair back. Designed in 1960, Hans J. Wegner's CH468 Oculus Chair went into production half a century later, when Wegner's original designs were rediscovered. Its design is thought to ensure that the shoulder blades can find a comfortable support offering a good rest for the neck and back. The distinctive design with the spacious backrest, sloping armrests and soft seat cushion made this one popular. The imposing shape of the upholstered upper chair is emphasized by the elegant looking stainless steel frame with sloping legs. With its sculpted silhouette and refined seating characteristics, Oculus will grab attention wherever it is.
