The Granbambola sofa is part of the Le Bambole collection, a 1972 design that was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979. Through exemplary research and imaginative work, Le Bambole provided their own highly personal response to the theme of seating. The sofa contains, as if 'sculpted' into a single material, backrest, seat and armrest, communicating maximum softness and comfort through welcoming forms seemingly devoid of rigid supports. In this re-edition, the materials used are of the latest generation, starting with the second-life polyethylene that gives structure. A project under the banner of sustainability thanks to the construction and material choices that allow the sofa's components to be disassembled and therefore easily recyclable.
