IC Light S2 | Pendant Lamp | Black

The IC Lights collection of lamps designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2014 for Flos was inspired by a video of a juggler spinning a series of glass spheres balanced on his body. Anastassiades was mesmerized by the apparent weightlessness conveyed by the rotating spheres and wanted to represent with this beautiful collection the precise moment when the spheres remained motionless in perfect balance. Like the spheres in the video, the lamp's illuminating body appears delicately suspended, elusive. The IC Lights floor lamp explores balance in its most simplified form. The contemporary design is finished with an opaline blown glass shade, perfectly balanced on the edge of the slender stem. Projecting a subtle glow into any space, the ethereal sphere provides the perfect finishing touch to this dimmable light.
