Maggiolina Chaise Longue | Armchair | Leather - Fabric - Ex - Display
Designed by Marco Zanuso in 1947 and awarded the gold medal in 1948 at the Milan Triennale, the Maggiolina armchair is an authentic icon of the Zanotta catalog. Starting from a hypothesis of an economical and removable armchair, it was designed for a competition held by the MoMA of New York. Characterized by a sinuous and enveloping structure in curved tubular steel, it suggests at first glance the idea of comfort thanks to the welcoming shell with soft padding and the soft leather upholstery. The 18/8 stainless steel tubular structure, envisaged in the original design only in the chromed version, is now proposed in the two new powder blue and black paint finishes: a chromatic update that renews this timeless classic making it even more current. The comfortable accessory pouf transforms this historic seat into a refined chaise longue. Body in pigmented leather 90. Back cushion padding in goose down. Seat cushion padding in polyurethane / Dacron Du Pont.
