The PH 3½-2½ glass table lamp was originally designed in 1925 by Poul Henningsen, who has since been in permanent collaboration with the prestigious architectural lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen. Poul Henningsen, a pioneer of Danish design, is renowned around the world for his innovative and radical approach. The lamp represents one of the major development projects undertaken by its designer, with a reflective three-screen system that directs most of the light downwards. PH 3½-2½ features an intricate three-level lampshade with blown opal glass lower screens that ensure a glare-free lighting surface, offering functional and comfortable lighting. The screens are glossy on the external surface and sandblasted internally with a matte finish, in order to distribute a soft and diffused light.
