The architect and artist Carlo Mollino designed the Carlino CM storage unit in 1933, which was later produced by Zanotta from 1991 to 1994. The sculptural and elegant piece of furniture is now re-edited by Zanotta to pay homage to the multifaceted Turin designer who marked a golden period (the 1950s) for Italian design. What makes the piece of furniture fascinating is the characteristic support foot: a slender spiked leg supports a corrugated drawer that slides internally on a wooden guide. A leather mat covers the bottom of the drawer which has a black back-painted glass top. The elegant console will enrich any corner of your home like a real sculpture.
