CH20 | Chair | Black Oak/Leather - Ex Display

Hans J. Wegner designed the CH20 Elbow stackable chair in 1956. After making the prototype he put the production design aside in his archives, where it remained for nearly half a century until it was brought back to life in 2005. The chair with its simple and refined shapes embody the minimalist philosophy of the designer. The characteristic rounded back, steam bent and made from a single piece of wood, allows support for the arms (hence the name "The Elbow Chair") increasing the comfort of the elegant chair on which you can sit for long time. The padded seat seems to float on the structure of the chair giving it a sober, timeless beauty.
