D.156.3 is the armchair designed by Gio Ponti and produced for Altamira, an American company founded by a nephew of the Spanish De Cuevas, is exhibited in the company's showroom in New York, together with furniture by Ico Parisi, Franco Albini, Carlo De Carli , Ignazio Gardella and others, chosen from among the most representative of the 10th Milan Triennale. The ergonomic armchair with wooden structure and non-removable fabric upholstery is part of the Heritage collection made up of re-editions taken from the company's historical archive and is a unique and timeless piece, to be brought to life outside the museum display cases, inside the houses.
