Muuto is a young Danish company founded in 2008, rooted in the tradition of Scandinavian design, but with a modern and dynamic soul, and a bold creative thinking. True to its name, Muuto, which in Finnish means change, aims to create new perspectives on Scandinavian design. The principles underlying the brand's design philosophy are: clear and durable aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship, combined with modern techniques and experimental attitude. The company collaborates with important names in Nordic design, such as Anderssen & Voll, Cecilie Manz and Mika Tolvanen and with a new generation of designers including Louise Campbell, Form-Us-With-Love, Norway-Says, Ole Jensen, to create new and intelligent interpretations of everyday objects, letting them play with new ideas, techniques, materials and shapes. Muuto's furniture, lamps and home accessories represent the essence of modern Scandinavian design.
