Sacco, the pop and nonconformist icon, symbol of the cultural transformation of 1968, becomes a product of eco-design: it activates a process of circular economy and helps to reduce environmental pollution. Innovative and sustainable materials relaunch the cult seat with a view to environmental responsibility, with a pattern based on an unpublished design by Pierre Charpin, who was inspired by the concept of 'network' to create a dense interweaving of colored lines, proposed in three color variations, which favors all Sacco configurations without changing the effect of the design. After 50 years, Sacco continues to look towards the future with the same spirit of avant-garde and experimentation. Made with bioplastic (PLA) obtained from sugar cane, biodegradable and compostable, resistant and suitable for long-term use. The casing is made with ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon thread, entirely made from fishing nets collected from the seabed, fabric and industrial plastic scraps that are transformed into new thread with the same quality and performance as nylon obtained from petroleum. ECONYL® yarn can be regenerated, recreated and remodeled indefinitely without using other natural resources of the planet.
