Stool 60 | Birch and HPL Bianco

The iconic Stool 60, the three-legged stool designed by Alvar Aalto and presented for the first time in 1933, was revolutionary and innovative for its technical realization, one of the most appreciated products in the history of world design. The legs are mounted directly on the underside of the round seat, without the need for complicated connecting elements. An elementary and geometric design that allows the stool to be stacked to save space, forming a spiral tower sculpture. Stool 60 can also be used as a small table, for example next to an armchair or in the bedroom, or as a display cabinet. Alvar Aalto's stool is still today a brilliant and current product.
