Stool E60 | Lacquered Birch

The iconic Stool 60, the three-legged stool designed by Alvar Aalto and presented for the first time in 1933, was revolutionary and innovative for its technical realization, one of the most appreciated products in the history of design. The legs are mounted directly on the underside of the round seat, without the need for connecting elements. An elementary and geometric design that allows the stool to be stacked to save space by forming a spiral tower sculpture. Stool 60 can also be used as a coffee table, for example next to an armchair, or in the bedroom, or as a display cabinet. Alvar Aalto's stool is still today a brilliant and current product.
