265 | Wall Lamp | Chromatica
Flos proposes the iconic 265 wall lamp, designed by Paolo Rizzatto in 1973, in the new 265 Chromatica version, which sees color as a design element and not as a simple decorative tool. The geometry of the pieces that make up the lamp, a hat, a weight and an adjustable arm fixed to the wall in an asymmetrical position, is enhanced by the colors used, one for each element. The project envisaged, already in its original version, that each element of the lamp was associated with a primary color, chosen according to precise combinations of meaning: the hat, the most important element, was drawn in red, the weight in yellow and the arm connection in blue. 265 Chromatica is a direct light lamp that can be oriented in any direction to illuminate the space and is perfect for a home or studio.
