The Aluminum Chair EA 108 by Vitra is one of the great successes in the design history of 20th century. The designers Charles and Ray Eames planned a cladding that was fixed inside the aluminum profiles and simply stretched on the frame, thus managing to transform the simple cladding into the load-bearing part of the structure. It fits snugly to the body and offers a great comfort with its structure with armrests and a swivel function.
