The Arpa sofa, as its name suggests, is inspired by the musical instrument of the same name. Through a rigorous exercise in synthesis, designer Ramòn Esteve has created a simple and elegant sofa, resolving each piece with as few elements as possible. Arpa combines stability and comfort through its orthogonal outer frame and soft, double-density, non-deformable polyurethane cushioning for maximum comfort. The backrest frame is hand-woven with high tenacity polyester rope for high weather resistance. The elegance of its design is emphasised by the delicacy of the ropes that give a feeling of lightness, as if the entire upholstery were floating on the frame.
