The CH401 armchair, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1958, is part of the minimalist Kastrup series which is still in use in the interiors of Copenhagen Airport. The armchair's simple tubular steel design proves that upholstered furniture doesn't have to be large or bulky. Its design is not only clean and simple: the structure of the CH401 chair is also exceptionally strong for long-term use. The backrest and seat of the elegant CH401 armchair are upholstered in fabric or leather.
