The Panthella Portable table lamp by Louis Poulsen is the wireless version of one of the most famous products designed by Verner Panton. Panton's goal was to create a lamp where the base and the lampshade could both act as reflectors. The light source is hidden under the hemispherical white acrylic lampshade and the trumpet-shaped base gives the lamp a distinctive and balanced silhouette and also contributes beautifully to the distribution of light. Originally produced in 1971, Panthella is now considered a Danish design classic and is available in a range of sizes and colors. The batteries can be recharged by induction, which makes it an excellent solution especially for restaurants and hotels.
