System Ultra | Shelving System

In the wake of the iconic Royal System modular bookcase, Poul Cadovius introduced the System Ultra in 1957, winning a silver medal at the XI Triennale di Milano, an award that gave international recognition to his exceptional project. Based on a simple but ingenious basic principle, it was developed with the same innovative space-saving design as the Royal System, which makes the walls the protagonists in furnishing solutions and which allows you to obtain more space from the rooms. System Ultra is made up of wall rails and thin and elegant shelves, made of metal instead of wood, with a wavy profile that is fixed to the guides by means of raw brass or colored steel hooks. Its various components offer the possibility to customize the system, allowing multiple combinations, with the possibility of expanding the shelving over time according to needs.
