YUH Wall | Wall Lamp | Black-Brass

The Italian-Danish design duo GamFratesi drew inspiration from Poul Henningsen's studies on light and the formal language of Arne Jacobsen's AJ lamps when designing Yuh for Louis Poulsen in 2017. The result is a flexible lamp that takes up little space, extremely practical: it can be turned up and down to illuminate and create the desired atmosphere, providing a pleasant light. A personal lamp, as the name suggests which is the phonetic form of "you". The minimalist and geometric look created by the circular lower part, the linear stem and the conical screen, give it a simple and versatile design, making it suitable for any modern environment. It emits light mainly downwards without direct glare. The thin opening at the top diffuses a soft light upwards. Initially launched in black and white, the Yuh lamp collection is expanded with versions in brass and marble. It is dimmable and has a timer function to program automatic shutdown after 4 or 8 hours. The LED technology available makes it a lamp with high lighting qualities.
